First Spring/Summer outfit of the year

I had to practically beg for the two of them to come to Costco with me this morning but as soon as Lana saw all the pretty outfits she was over the moon, RW walked away with a dashing orange Calvin Klein ensemble too! When we got home they both wanted to strut around in their skirts/shorts - come on warmer weather, we're ready!!

Lana Update

Our little girl was her normal self all day yesterday. She went down for her nap @ her normal time and woke up her normal groggy self. An hour later, at 6 she threw up... and threw up and threw up and... you get the idea. At 8 all she was throwing up was bial. We gave her some Childrens Gravol @ 9 and that came right back up. She was so thirsty and tried a couple sips here and there but she just couldn't keep anything down. From 9 to 12 she threw up every 45min - 1hr, I finally took her into the hospital at midnight.
We got there and the nurse in triage gave lana some meds, it stayed down for about 30 mins. I let her know that she threw up again so she gave her another dose. That was the first thing in over 6 hrs that stayed in her belly. After 2.5 hrs of waiting we had this young Dr come in and touch her belly and told me she's fine. Since she kept the meds down he gave me the green light to slowly introduce fluids again. He kept on using the term "barf," I realize it's 2am but can you try to have a little professionalism? ANYWAYS, the nurse gave Lana 4 stickers and a freezie, she was so happy to get a sticker of Woody and Bo Peep (Toy Story), it totally made up for the lack of sleep and food in her evening. We got home and she sucked on her freezie for a couple of minutes, guzzled down a bit of water and she was in bed by 3am.... only to be woken up @ 8 by the pups shenanigans. 
She just went down for a nap @ 10.


I talked with Christie (dayhome) and this bug is making its way through the dayhome, 4 of her kids were throwing up last night! Apparently if you don't ween them back into food there's more vomit in the future. Thus far all she's had is water and a couple of whole wheat soda crackers.


Here's hoping RW doesn't catch it.

Bedroom

Oh Little Lana - you are so cute.

Now that you're in your new bed you've got a new found freedom. Some nights, on my way up to bed, I look at the bottom of your closed door and can see the pink light from your lamp. I open the door to find you snuggling with your two "girls" (porcelain dolls) that were sitting on your new dresser, you're lying on your Little Mermaid and Snow White books while you're wearing your blue Ariel nightie.

You've suddenly become an early riser, sometimes you can get your bedroom door open and I find you sitting on the Lazy-boy chair playing with some of your toys. Other times you can't quite open the door so I hear a couple of knocks that are oh-so gentle and soft. I open the door and sometimes you've put on your black patten shoes, or your backpack with all your princess heels and even some jewelry at times.

I'm not a morning person, by no stretch of the imagination... but to me, you're my cup of coffee.

She thought I would look the best with blue nail polish followed with a pick overlay. She had a blast painting my nails.
